Zoho Books has introduced a new feature allowing you to connect WhatsApp to your organization. This integration enables you to send direct notifications about payments and sales transactions to your customers. You can customize marketing and utility templates for different modules to enhance communication. Additionally, the feature supports initiating direct conversations with customers through the app.
Step-by-Step Guide:
Log In to Zoho Books:
Open your web browser, navigate to the Zoho Books login page, and sign in with your credentials.
Navigate to the Sales Module:
Once logged in, find and select the ‘Sales’ tab from the main menu on the left-hand side of the dashboard.
Access the Customers List:
Under the Sales module, click on ‘Customers’. This will display a list of all your customers stored in Zoho Books.
Select a Customer:
Scroll through the list or use the search bar to find a specific customer. Click on the customer’s name to open their detailed profile.
Edit Contact Details:
On the customer’s profile page, locate the section for Primary Contact or Contact Person. Click the ‘Edit’ button next to these details to modify them.
Enable WhatsApp as a Communication Channel:
In the edit mode, look for the option to select communication channels. Here, choose WhatsApp as a communication channel.
Save the Changes:
After setting WhatsApp as the communication channel, ensure to save your changes by clicking the ‘Save’ button at the bottom of the form.
