Creating an Event with Zoho Apps: What I Love

Many companies face technical challenges when organizing events or activities that involve interconnected systems. For example, a company may host a paid conference or information session, a chamber of commerce may plan diverse activities with its members, or an organization may offer online training or an ebook for download.

These scenarios require the creation of a comprehensive process that is automated, collects data, and maintains a connection with participants while providing a clear and comprehensive view of these activities. While this process may seem complex, it is not complicated with proper planning.

Complex? Yes… but not complicated

Many companies, as well as self-employed workers, often use multiple, disconnected tools.

Consider the scenario where a company named Gestion BSP wants to host a workshop-conference event.

In a traditional environment without Zoho

The company would need a landing page, either created on its website or using a landing page creation tool. It would also need a tool to collect registrations, connected to a payment system, and a CRM to manage sales and customer relationships.

The company would require a mass mailing system to communicate information before and after the event, as well as to send satisfaction surveys and promotional campaigns.

In an environment with Zoho

However, with Zoho, the company has access to all its apps, including Zoho Sites, Zoho Forms, Zoho CRM, Zoho Campaigns, and Zoho Survey.

With these tools, the company can create its landing page directly connected to its website and use Zoho Forms to collect registrations. Payments can be processed through PayPal, and registration data can be saved in the Zoho CRM Activities module and contact files. The company can also sync with Zoho Campaigns to manage its emailing campaigns and conduct satisfaction surveys through Zoho Survey.

All of these tools work together seamlessly, resulting in an automated ecosystem

I can therefore have almost instantaneous visibility of my activity(ies). Afterwards, I can take follow-up actions via my CRM to make sure I don’t lose the link with my contacts.

In short, I hope I have shown you that there is no need to tear your hair out! Today with SaaS platforms such as Zoho, it is possible to simplify, automate and optimize your processes… Here is a good example! Oh yes, I forgot! You may tell me it must be expensive!

Not really!

Considering that Zoho One is offered at US$75 per month to benefit from +40 applications, I think the deal is good! Finally, if you want to get to the bottom of your budget, I invite you to schedule a call with Eddie Darac.
