Zoho Social makes it easy to target your Facebook and LinkedIn audience by country. Facebook expands this even further by letting you target specific job types, ensuring the right people are seeing your posts. You can set country and job-specific visibility in just a few clicks using Zoho Social’s intuitive publishing interface.
Whether you’re speaking to a regional market or tailoring content to professionals in specific job roles, post targeting helps ensure your message reaches the people who are most likely to engage. This feature allows you to create more relevant, effective content that supports stronger connections and better results.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Targeting Facebook Posts by Country
While composing a Facebook post, you have the option to narrow your audience by location. To set country-specific targeting:
1) Select the Set targeting icon found in the bottom left of the Publishing Window.
2) Type in the countries you want the post to reach.
3) Click Set to apply your targeting preferences.
Note: The post targeting feature is only available for Facebook Pages and not for Facebook Groups.
Post Targeting on LinkedIn
LinkedIn Post Targeting lets you tailor your message for the right audience on your Company Page, whether you’re aiming to reach people in a certain location or connect with professionals based on job roles. To set your audience targeting:
1) Choose the LinkedIn Company Page icon in the Publishing Window.
2) Click the Set Targeting icon, then enter the location and job functions of the audience you want to reach.
3) Click Set to apply your targeting.
Note: Targeting is supported only for Facebook Pages and LinkedIn Company Pages. On LinkedIn, you must target a minimum of 300 followers.
TimeWarp
Once you’ve set targeting for your post, you’ll see the TimeWarp option appear just above the Schedule button in Zoho Social. This feature ensures your post goes live at the same local time in each selected timezone.
For example, if you schedule a post for 1 p.m., TimeWarp will publish it at 1 p.m. in every country you’ve targeted, helping you stay consistent across regions.
Once you’ve finished creating your content, added images, selected your channels, and applied targeting if needed, you’re all set to publish. Simply click Post Now in the Publishing Window, and your content will go live.
Note: TimeWarp is available exclusively for Facebook Pages.
