He wants to track sales performance at each location to determine which gloves are most popular in different regions. To do this, he creates <\/span><\/i>Reporting Tags<\/i><\/b> for each state and assigns them to sales transactions. At the end of the month, he filters his reports using these tags to analyze sales trends, helping him optimize inventory and marketing strategies for each store.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Create Tags<\/b><\/h3>\n

You have the flexibility to create <\/span>Reporting Tags<\/b> with multiple options tailored to your specific needs. To set up a reporting tag:<\/span><\/p>\n

1. Navigate to <\/span>Settings<\/b> and select <\/span>Reporting Tags<\/b> under <\/span>Customization<\/b>.
\n<\/span>2. Click <\/span>+ New Tag<\/b> in the upper right corner to begin.<\/span><\/p>\n

Filter Reports with Tags<\/b><\/h3>\n

You can filter reports based on the Reporting Tags linked to items and transactions. In Zoho Inventory, this feature is available for the Sales by Item report. Follow these steps to apply filters:<\/span><\/p>\n

1. Open a new invoice, assign tags to each item, and mark the invoice as <\/span>Sent.
\n<\/b><\/span>2. Navigate to the <\/span>Reports<\/b> module from the left sidebar and open the <\/span>Sales by Item<\/b> report.
\n<\/span>3. Click <\/span>Customize Report<\/b> at the top.
\n<\/span>4. Under <\/span>General > Advanced Filters<\/b>, click <\/span>+ Add Filter.<\/b>
